Life Cycle and Integrated Pest Management of Botyodes diniasalis in He Nanzhai Town, Miyun District, Beijing
Abstract:In view of the serious damage caused by Botyodes diniasalis to poplar trees in He Nanzhai Town, Miyun District, Beijing, it is necessary to explore comprehensive and efficient pest control methods. This paper clarifies the life cycle of Botyodes diniasalis through literature survey and light trapping measures, conducts biological control using Podisus maculiventris, and carries out pesticide control experiments with different concentration gradients. The results show that Botyodes diniasalis has four generations per year in He Nanzhai Town, with severe damage. The biological control effect of Podisus maculiventris on Botyodes diniasalis is good, with a control efficiency of up to 97.78%. The control effects of 2.4% emulsifiable concentrate of chlorantraniliprole and Bacillus thuringiensis and 5% water-dispersible emulsion of chlorantraniliprole and spinosad are better, with corrected mortality rates above 95% after 5 days of treatment. The integrated pest management measures, including releasing Podisus maculiventris for biological control and alternating spraying of 2.4% emulsifiable concentrate of chlorantraniliprole and Bacillus thuringiensis or 5% water-dispersible emulsion of chlorantraniliprole and spinosad, can effectively reduce the damage caused by Botyodes diniasalis.
