Current Ideas and Experiences in Grassroots Plant Protection Work
Abstract：In order to carry out the 'Saving Grain from Insects' work well, Xiangfan City has actively explored and innovated in major disease and pest monitoring and early warning, prevention and control, and scientific and technological innovation, achieving good results. This article elaborates on the main practices of Xiangfan City's plant protection departments, including strengthening monitoring surveys, consultation analysis, and information release for disease and pest monitoring and early warning; organizing and mobilizing, demonstration leading, and precise control for disease and pest prevention and control; as well as promoting the implementation of work through measures such as strengthening organizational management, fund use, and publicity and guidance. It also puts forward suggestions for future practices, providing references for continuously enhancing the supporting, safeguarding, and service roles of plant protection work in ensuring grain production safety.
