Control Effect of Five Non-Chemical Fungicides on Strawberry Powdery Mildew in Protected Cultivation
Abstract:To screen safe and effective, low-residue pesticides for controlling strawberry powdery mildew, this study compared the control effects of five non-chemical fungicides on strawberry powdery mildew. The results showed that microbial-derived fungicides, such as polyoxin and Bacillus subtilis, had better control effects on strawberry powdery mildew in protected cultivation, with a control efficiency of more than 68% seven days after three applications. This was significantly higher than the control effects of plant-derived fungicides, including berberine, osthole, and rhein methyl ether. In production, it is recommended to prioritize the use of microbial-derived fungicides, such as polyoxin and Bacillus subtilis, for controlling strawberry powdery mildew, and to pay attention to applying the drugs before and at the early stage of disease occurrence.
