Screening of Suitable Rice Varieties for Double-Crop Rice in Honghu City
Abstract：This paper screened the adaptability of 15 rice varieties in Honghu City, Hubei Province. The results showed that varieties such as Longjingyou 1212, Longjingyou 8401, Quanke You 822, Liangyou 036, Hualiangyou 2871, Huailiangyou 341, and Fengliangyou Xiang 1 have a suitable growth period in the Honghu area, with an earlier first crop maturity and strong regenerative ability; varieties such as Quanyou 822, Longjingyou 1212, Jiuliangyou Yuehe Simiao, Zhenliangyou Yingxiangsimiao, and Fengliangyou Xiang 1 have higher yields. Considering growth period, yield, and other agronomic traits, it is recommended to promote the planting of Longjingyou 1212 and Fengliangyou Xiang 1 in the Honghu area.
