Control Effect of 33% Fenoxaprop-ethyl and Cyhalofop-butyl Microcapsule Suspension on Weeds in Peanut Fields
Abstract:To clarify the soil pre-emergence control effect of 33% Fenoxaprop-ethyl and Cyhalofop-butyl Microcapsule Suspension on weeds in peanut fields, a field experiment was conducted in 2023, comparing the efficacy and safety of three doses: 100, 150, and 200 mL/667m2. The results showed that all doses had no adverse effects on peanut emergence and growth, indicating good safety. After 45 days of treatment, the control rates of weed plants ranged from 85.34% to 95.07%, and the fresh weight control rates ranged from 88.51% to 95.98%. The yield increase rate ranged from 791.37% to 928.46%, and both the control effect and yield improvement increased with the dose. The 200 mL/667m2 treatment had the best control effect, but there was no significant difference in yield compared to the 150 mL/667m2 treatment. Considering the comprehensive control effect, yield, and economic efficiency, it is recommended to apply 33% Fenoxaprop-ethyl and Cyhalofop-butyl Microcapsule Suspension at a dose of 100-150 mL/667m2 after sowing and before seedling emergence for soil pre-emergence weed control in peanut fields, which can balance effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.
