Screening of Pesticides for the Control of Bacterial Leaf Streak in Rice
Abstract:In order to screen pesticides suitable for the control of bacterial leaf streak in rice in Hubei Province, a field efficacy test was conducted on the medium doses of five registered pesticides. The results showed that 30% thiazoxyl SC at 90 mL/667m2 had the best control effect on bacterial leaf streak in rice, with a control effect of 53.90% and 54.33% 7 days and 14 days after the second application, respectively, which was significantly higher than the other four pesticides. The control effects of 20% thiodiazole copper SC at 150 g/667m2 and 50% chlorobromoisocyanuric acid SP at 60 g/667m2 were significantly higher than those of 3% thiamethoxam ME at 90 mL/667m2 and 0.3% tetramycin AS at 60 mL/667m2, with control effects of 44.38% and 43.13%, and 47.00% and 48.80%, respectively. Since the medium dose treatments of 30% thiazoxyl SC, 20% thiodiazole copper SC, and 50% chlorobromoisocyanuric acid SP did not reach a control effect of more than 60%, it is recommended to use the highest recommended dosage of these three pesticides in production and to rotate the pesticides to delay the development of resistance.
