Preliminary Report on the Screening of Oilseed Rape Varieties Resistant to Clubroot in Zhongxiang City
Abstract：To screen oilseed rape varieties suitable for cultivation in Zhongxiang City, seven oilseed rape varieties resistant to clubroot were selected for the trial. The study compared the disease resistance, yield performance, and quality characteristics of the tested varieties. The results showed that Huayouza 520, Huayouza 62R, and Zhongyou 926 performed well overall. Among them, Zhongyou 926 had the highest yield, with a relatively high number of pods per plant and seeds per pod, a relatively high oil content, and a lower erucic acid content. It also showed good resistance to clubroot. Therefore, it is recommended to prioritize its promotion in areas where clubroot disease is more severe in this region.
