Two New Herbicides for Weed Control in Wheat Fields and Yield Analysis
Abstract:There are many types of weeds in wheat fields, and the enhanced herbicide resistance has led to poor control effects on weeds, seriously affecting wheat yield. To investigate the efficacy of two new herbicides on weed control in wheat fields, their safety to wheat, and their impact on yield, a field trial was conducted during the seedling stage of wheat using foliar application. The results showed that all herbicide treatments were safe for wheat. The 20% diflufenzopyr + florasulam water-dispersible granules had the highest efficacy, reaching 94.9% after 60 days. In terms of wheat yield increase, the 20% diflufenzopyr + florasulam water-dispersible granules and the 22% flupyrsilfen + pyroxsulam oil-dispersible suspension showed an increase of 82.1% and 48.5%, respectively, compared to the blank control. Overall, both 20% diflufenzopyr + florasulam water-dispersible granules and 22% flupyrsilfen + pyroxsulam oil-dispersible suspension can be widely applied in wheat fields in Bozhou.
