Investigation of Fungal Diseases in Red Min Tea Gardens in Duyun during Winter and Suggestions for Control Measures
Abstract:Fungal diseases of tea plants are one of the main factors causing a decrease in yield and quality of tea. The occurrence of fungal diseases in tea gardens during winter can provide disease information for accurate prevention and control of tea diseases in the following spring. This study used a parallel sampling method to investigate fungal diseases in the Red Min tea garden in Duyun City during winter. The results showed that there are seven fungal diseases in the tea plants of the Red Min tea garden in Duyun during winter, among which tea algal spot disease and tea sooty mold disease are the most severe, followed by tea anthracnose. The other diseases occur at a generally mild level. Control measures for each disease are proposed, which can provide a theoretical basis for the management of tea diseases in spring.
