Current Situation and Considerations on the Use and Recycling of Plastic Mulch in Yingcheng City
Abstract：Plastic mulch plays a key role in modern agriculture by increasing temperature, retaining soil moisture, and improving crop yields. With the expanding use of plastic mulch, the negative effects caused by its residue have become increasingly evident, such as damage to soil structure, agricultural pollution, and reduced crop yields. Yingcheng City has achieved positive results in the recycling of plastic mulch, but still faces challenges such as difficulties in recycling, high processing costs, and an imperfect regulatory mechanism, which require further improvement. This paper proposes countermeasures including strengthening publicity and guidance, conducting routine monitoring, improving the recycling system, introducing market mechanisms, and strengthening supervision, aiming to provide scientific references for the recycling and utilization of waste agricultural films and the sustainable development of agriculture in Yingcheng City.
