Field Efficacy Test of Different Pesticides against Potato Late Blight
Abstract:This study evaluated the field efficacy of six different pesticides and their combinations against potato late blight. The results showed that after two applications, none of the six pesticide treatments had adverse effects on the potato plants. The field efficacy against potato late blight was best with 5% oregano phenol + 10% cyazofamid and 30% dimethomorph + 10% cyazofamid, both achieving more than 85% control efficacy. Next were 10% fluopicolide + 0.5% cyazofamid + 80% mineral oil and fenfluram + propamocarb, with control efficacies above 70%. It is recommended that mancozeb and 1% sophoramine be used before the occurrence of potato late blight to prevent its occurrence. In years with moderate or severe outbreaks, it is suggested to prioritize 5% oregano phenol + 10% cyazofamid and 30% dimethomorph + 10% cyazofamid, and to rotate pesticides. Fenfluram + propamocarb and 10% fluopicolide + 15% cyazofamid + 80% mineral oil also showed good efficacy and can be used as alternative pesticides to delay the development of resistance.
