Preliminary Study on the Application Rate of Biogas Slurry for Full Replacement of Chemical Fertilizers in Early Rice-Regrowth Rice System
Abstract:To explore the optimal application rate of biogas slurry for full replacement of chemical fertilizers in early rice-regrowth rice systems, and to provide a scientific basis for innovating manure return technology models, a small plot experiment was conducted in Wulongtan Village, Timentang Township, Ma'cheng City in 2022. The results showed that the highest yield and yield increase rate were achieved when applying 180 m3/hm2 of biogas slurry in the early rice season and 120 m3/hm2 in the regrowth season, with yields of 14,652.4 kg/hm2 and an increase rate of 16.8%, which can fully replace chemical fertilizers. Modeling analysis showed that applying 169.2 m3/hm2 of biogas slurry in the early rice season, 103.2 m3/hm2 in the regrowth season, and a total of 269.9 m3/hm2 over both seasons, or applying 157.4 kg/hm2 of biogas slurry (pure nitrogen) in the early rice season, 87.8 kg/hm2 in the regrowth season, and a total of 242.5 kg/hm2 (pure nitrogen) over both seasons could achieve the highest yield. Applying biogas slurry reasonably to fully replace chemical fertilizers in the early rice-regrowth rice system can increase yield and income, improve the utilization rate of livestock manure, and reduce agricultural non-point source pollution.
