Field Comparative Trial of Eight Fungicides for Controlling Peanut Root Rot
Abstract:To investigate the effects of different fungicide seed treatments on the control of peanut root rot and yield, a field experiment was conducted to measure phenotypic indicators during the seedling stage, disease control efficacy during the flowering and pegging stage and pod formation stage, and yield at harvest. The results showed that all treatments exhibited certain efficacy. Among them, the treatment with 62.5 g/L fludioxonil + prothioconazole had better seedling growth, with the highest number of seedlings at 1,833 plants, and the best disease control efficacy during the flowering and pegging stage and pod formation stage, at 94.05% and 59.26%, respectively. The yield at harvest was the highest at 476.91 kg/667m². The treatment with 70% carbendazim showed efficacy against peanut root rot only during the pod formation stage. In conclusion, the seed treatment with 62.5 g/L fludioxonil + prothioconazole suspension seed coating agent showed the best control effect and highest yield, and it is recommended for application in production.
