Field Efficacy of Five Common Insecticides Against Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera
Abstract:To screen for insecticides with better efficacy against Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera, five commonly used insecticides available on the market were selected for field efficacy tests. The results showed that the tested insecticides had good efficacy and persistence against both pests. Among them, the 10% flufiprole suspension had the best quick-acting effect and persistence. Three days after treatment, the efficacy against Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera reached 89.68% and 84.32%, respectively. Fourteen days after treatment, the efficacy against Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera reached 96.94% and 96.78%, respectively. It can be considered as a preferred reference insecticide for field control of Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera.
