Toxicity Determination of Azadirachtin against the Larvae of Lycoris sanguinea
Abstract：This study determined the toxicity of azadirachtin against the larvae of Lycoris sanguinea using a spraying method. The results showed that the toxicity of azadirachtin decreased significantly with increasing dilution ratio. Within the test period (96 h), the 50-fold diluted solution had the highest cumulative corrected mortality rate, reaching 56.6%. However, the 2000-fold diluted solution of azadirachtin had very little toxicity, with only one larva dying, indicating that it is a relatively safe concentration for application. Azadirachtin can control agricultural pests while maintaining good safety for beneficial organisms such as fireflies.
