Design of Seasonal Changes in Urban Tree Landscape and Optimization of Tree Species Selection in Northern Cities
Abstract:In order to fully utilize the seasonal changes in landscape effects and create a garden with scenery in all four seasons, each with its own characteristics, this study takes Shanxi Province as an example. Based on the analysis of the climatic characteristics of the city and the current status of seasonal landscape in gardens, it proposes design points from aspects such as the reasonable selection of tree species suitable for each season, the construction of multi-layered plant communities, the balance between seasonal beauty and ecological functions, and the consideration of the relationships between plants. The research shows that by following the climate characteristics and relevant principles, a scientifically designed garden landscape environment that is ecologically coordinated and has distinct features in each season can be created, aiming to provide references for related planning and practice.
