Research on Climatic Conditions and High-Quality, High-Yield Cultivation Techniques for Guaixi Honey Pomelo in Zhangzhou City
Abstract：As a characteristic agricultural product of Zhangzhou City, Guaixi honey pomelo is famous at home and abroad for its thin skin, tender flesh, abundant juice, and sweet taste. The growth and development of Guaixi honey pomelo are highly sensitive to climatic conditions, and meteorological factors directly affect the quality and yield of the fruit. Based on climate observation data from Zhangzhou City from 1991 to 2020, this study focuses on analyzing the climatic conditions for Guaixi honey pomelo cultivation and major meteorological disasters. The results show that the climatic conditions such as temperature, precipitation, and sunshine hours in Zhangzhou City can meet the growth requirements of Guaixi honey pomelo. However, meteorological disasters such as high temperature, heavy rain, and low-temperature frost frequently occur, which are extremely detrimental to the growth, quality, and yield of Guaixi honey pomelo. Based on these findings, this study proposes technical recommendations for high-quality and high-yield cultivation, including strengthening the meteorological forecasting and early warning system, optimizing orchard management, and implementing various measures to prevent meteorological disasters, aiming to provide some reference and insights for leveraging favorable conditions and avoiding adverse ones to promote the high-quality and high-yield production of Guaixi honey pomelo.
