Impact of Climate Change on Rice Yield in Fuxian County and Meteorological Service Strategies
Abstract：To explore the impact of climate change on rice yield in Fuxian County, Shaanxi Province, and to clarify corresponding meteorological service measures, based on meteorological observation data from Fuxian Meteorological Bureau from 1991 to 2024, including temperature, precipitation, and sunshine duration, this study used linear trend analysis to systematically reveal the characteristics of local climate change and its impact on rice yield. The research shows that over the past 35 years, the annual average temperature and annual precipitation in Fuxian County have increased to varying degrees, while the annual sunshine duration has decreased. Climate change has had an adverse effect on rice yield in Fuxian County. Therefore, it is necessary to actively take meteorological service measures, including strengthening meteorological monitoring and forecasting capabilities, enhancing refined meteorological services, and innovating meteorological service methods and content, to cope with the production risks brought by climate change to rice yield.
