Empirical Study on Rapid Fault Location and Isolation Technology for 10kV Distribution Lines in Rural Power Grids
Abstract:Taking the service area of Zhangjiakou Chongli District Power Supply Company of State Grid as the research object, this study focuses on the problems of weak structure and frequent faults in 10kV distribution lines in rural power grids. It deeply investigates high-speed fault location and isolation technologies. While analyzing the structural characteristics of the rural power grid in Chongli District, it clarifies the causes of faults such as lightning strikes and ice disasters, as well as the drawbacks of traditional technologies. It specifically elaborates on the principles of traveling wave positioning and intelligent switch isolation, and constructs an intelligent distribution automation system architecture. By combining methods such as equipment selection, investment cost calculation, and operation and maintenance benefit analysis, it verifies the economic feasibility and reliability of the technology application, and then proposes directions for technological improvement and promotion suggestions. The study finds that this technology can effectively improve the power supply quality of rural power grids, thereby providing technical support for the construction of new power systems.
