Design, Controller and Algorithm Research of a Multi-Outlet Smart Agricultural Sprayer
Abstract:In the context of global agriculture's transformation toward 'precision, intelligence, and green development,' to address the challenges of food security caused by population growth and reduced arable land, traditional spraying equipment suffers from low operational efficiency, poor spray uniformity, and high operational safety risks. This paper designs a multi-outlet smart agricultural sprayer, aiming to break through the limitations of traditional tools and develop an agricultural equipment integrating environmental perception, intelligent decision-making, and precise execution. The equipment uses a tracked chassis to reduce soil compaction, integrates an infrared camera for real-time crop monitoring, and employs a three-outlet independent spraying system (water outlet, pesticide outlet, fertilizer outlet) to achieve precise control of water, pesticides, and fertilizers. Additionally, it innovatively proposes a collaborative decision-making model based on fuzzy control algorithms. Field comparison experiments verify that compared with traditional methods, this system saves 33.75% water, improves water spraying accuracy by 10%, increases operational efficiency by 50%, and doubles crop growth uniformity, significantly enhancing resource utilization and reducing environmental pollution.
