Factors Affecting Farmland Quality and Its Protective Measures
Abstract:Farmland ecology is an important component of China's ecosystem, playing a significant role in maintaining ecological stability, ensuring food production, and promoting economic development. Based on this, this paper explores various factors affecting farmland quality, including farmland pollution and desertification. Among them, industrial pollution, agricultural input pollution, urban waste and sewage discharge have seriously affected soil quality and crop yields; farmland desertification is mainly caused by climate change, human activities, and unreasonable utilization of water resources. Therefore, it proposes several protective measures, including improving farmland quality, optimizing population size control, and scientifically developing farmland resources. At the same time, it suggests that through technological innovation empowerment, promotion of ecological agriculture models, and improvement of farmland protection laws and regulations, we can effectively achieve the sustainable use of farmland resources and the sustainable development of agriculture.
