Application of Distribution Automation Technology in Rural Networks and Research on Rapid Fault Location
Abstract：With the vigorous development of the rural economy, the reliability and stability of power supply in rural networks have become increasingly critical. Focusing on the application of distribution automation technology and the issue of rapid fault location in rural networks, this paper analyzes the application methods and selection criteria of common distribution automation technologies in rural networks, discusses the types, causes, and impacts of distribution faults in rural networks, and studies a rapid fault location method based on the integration of equipment monitoring data, communication technology, and intelligent algorithms. By analyzing the renovation cases of some lines in Zhangjiakou Company and Zhangbei County, the implementation effects of the technology application and fault location are evaluated. The study shows that the reasonable application of distribution automation technology combined with effective fault location methods can significantly improve the operational efficiency and power supply reliability of rural networks, but further optimization is still needed in aspects such as technology selection and fault location accuracy.
