Analysis of Spatiotemporal Characteristics of Meteorological Disaster Early Warning Information in Qiannan Prefecture Based on Data from 2022 to 2024
Abstract:To improve the accuracy of disaster warnings, this study analyzes and statistically investigates the meteorological disaster early warning information released by 12 counties (cities) in Qiannan Prefecture from 2022 to 2024. It comprehensively analyzes the characteristics of early warning releases from multiple perspectives, including the number of warnings, types and levels, and spatiotemporal distribution. The results show that the main early warning signals issued in Qiannan Prefecture are lightning, strong winds, heavy rain, fog, and hail, with a total release volume showing an annual upward trend. The warning levels mainly focus on blue, yellow, and orange levels, while red warnings are rare. Overall, there is a pattern of 'high-frequency medium-to-high-level warnings and low-frequency high-level warnings'. On a monthly scale, the number of early warning releases shows a unimodal variation, with concentrated releases in June to August. On a daily scale, lightning warnings show a bimodal distribution, while heavy rain, hail, strong wind, and fog warnings show a unimodal pattern. There is significant spatial variation in the number of early warning releases in Qiannan Prefecture, with an uneven distribution, generally showing a pattern of 'dense in the central area and sparse in the east and west'. The distribution characteristics of early warning numbers at different levels vary.
