Analysis of the Impact of Precipitation Changes on Sugarcane Production in Yunxiao County and Service Strategies
Abstract:Based on monthly precipitation observation data from Yunxiao County from 1991 to 2024, this study systematically analyzes the characteristics of regional precipitation changes and their impact on sugarcane production using mathematical analysis methods. The results show that during the statistical period, the annual precipitation, annual number of precipitation days, and annual number of heavy rain days showed varying degrees of decreasing trends, with the most significant decrease in annual precipitation. The distribution of precipitation within the year shows a significant seasonal concentration, with more than 50% of the annual precipitation occurring during the main flood season (June to August), and extreme precipitation events mainly concentrated in June. Further analysis indicates that changes in precipitation in Yunxiao County not only affect the normal growth of sugarcane but also lead to fluctuations in yield and a decline in quality. By strengthening the monitoring and early warning of precipitation changes, optimizing irrigation management, and adjusting agricultural technical measures, the climate adaptability of sugarcane production can be improved.
