Optimized Design and Implementation Effect Analysis of Rural Water Supply System Reconstruction for Water Quality Compliance
Abstract:In response to common issues in rural water supply systems such as non-compliant water quality, aging facilities, and irregular management, this study systematically investigates the optimization plan for rural water supply system reconstruction from four aspects: process scheme optimization design, water treatment process optimization, hydraulic condition optimization, and selection of renovation equipment. The practical application of a rural water supply system reconstruction project in a certain county demonstrates that after the renovation, the turbidity of the outlet water decreased by 77.1%, residual chlorine content increased by 133.3%, pipeline leakage rate decreased by 53.9%, and the qualification rate of water supply pressure increased by 14.4%. The system's operating energy consumption was reduced by 37.8%, and operating costs were reduced by 38.8%. The research results can provide technical support and practical reference for similar projects, which is of great significance for improving the water quality of rural water supply.
