Current Status and Measures of the Application of Agricultural Engineering Technology in Rural Industrial Revitalization
Abstract：Agricultural engineering technology is being applied more widely in modern agricultural development. To explore the current application status of agricultural engineering technology in rural revitalization in Enshi Prefecture and identify existing shortcomings, a special study was conducted. Through statistical surveys, research seminars, and document reviews, the application of agricultural engineering technology in Enshi Prefecture was summarized from five aspects: facility horticulture, tea processing, pre-cooling facilities for high mountain vegetables, application of agricultural machinery equipment, and agricultural product quality supervision. The study pointed out three main issues: suboptimal equipment structure, insufficient investment, and inadequate integration of agricultural machinery and farming techniques. It proposed six suggestions: strengthening government guidance and scientifically compiling development plans, vigorously developing and promoting new agricultural engineering technologies, making every effort to increase financial investment, supporting the construction of agricultural engineering technology talent teams, using new agricultural engineering technologies to strengthen product quality and safety, and exploring new approaches to integrate the application of agricultural engineering technology with rural industrial revitalization. These suggestions are intended for reference by relevant decision-making departments.
