Classification Study on the Endemic Composition of Seed Plants in Jilin Province
Abstract:By consulting plant monographs and online databases, this study organized seed plants distributed in Jilin Province and analyzed their family and genus characteristics, floristic components, and spatial distribution patterns of diversity. There are 179 endemic seed plants in Jilin Province, belonging to 44 families and 111 genera. Twenty-nine genera have more than 10 species, mainly composed of angiosperms. In terms of life forms, herbaceous plants are dominant, with perennial herbs showing a significant advantage. In comparison, tree and shrub species are fewer, with a total of 28 endemic protected plants. Endemic plants in Jilin Province are concentrated in the Changbai Mountain area and its southern extension, while other regions show a scattered distribution pattern.
