Exploration of Local Specialty Plants Empowering New Models of Rural Industry
Abstract：The white orchid flower is widely cultivated in Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, and Yunnan provinces. In Lingchuan County and Hengzhou City of Qinzhou, Guangxi, there are large-scale planting bases for the white orchid flower. However, factors such as agricultural risks and small industry scale have limited its development. Based on this, this study explores models such as establishing R&D platforms in rural specialty plant industries, driving regional specialty plant industrial integration through innovation, building a specialty plant industry ecosystem around leading enterprises, and promoting new industry models through enterprise cluster effects. It also proposes relevant suggestions to promote the development of specialty plant industries, aiming to provide references for the development of rural industry new models in the Guangxi region.
