Research on Favorable Meteorological Conditions for Pepper Cultivation and Measures for High Quality and High Yield
Abstract：In order to explore the favorable meteorological conditions for pepper cultivation and measures for high quality and high yield, based on the growth situation of peppers in Jize County and the climate data of temperature, precipitation, and light from 2010 to 2023 in the county, this study used statistical methods such as line charts and bar charts to analyze the agricultural meteorological conditions for pepper cultivation and the adverse effects of common meteorological disasters on pepper cultivation. The results show that the temperature, precipitation, and light conditions in Jize County can well meet the climatic requirements for pepper production, but may also be affected by disasters such as heavy rain, strong winds, and hail. Finally, optimization measures were proposed from two aspects: key points of pepper cultivation management technology and specialized meteorological services for peppers, aiming to promote the realization of high quality and high yield in Jize County's pepper production.
