Simulation Analysis of the Soil Covering and Sowing Device in an Efficient Rice Seedling Raising Production Line
Abstract:A rice seedling production line suitable for large farms and large-scale growers was designed. A discrete element simulation model of the soil covering device and sowing device of the production line was established using discrete element software, and the effects of component motion parameters on soil covering and sowing effects were studied. Simulation test results show that the soil covering simulation effect is best with soil particles of 1.5 mm radius; the quality of soil and seeds in the seedling tray decreases with the increase of the seedling tray's moving speed; the soil quality in the seedling tray increases with the increase of the conveying belt speed of the soil delivery; the seed quality in the seedling tray increases with the increase of the rotation speed of the outer groove seeder; the speed of the seedling tray and the soil conveying belt, as well as the rotation speed of the outer groove seeder can regulate the quality of soil and seeds in the seedling tray.
