Climate Suitability Analysis of Winter Wheat Cultivation in the Agricultural Areas of Kizilsu and Countermeasures for High Quality and High Yield
Abstract:Using meteorological observation data from January 1982 to December 2022 in the agricultural areas of Kizilsu, this study focuses on the impact of climate conditions on wheat planting and growth. The results show that the climate conditions such as temperature, precipitation, and sunlight in the agricultural areas of Kizilsu are suitable for winter wheat production. However, adverse climatic phenomena such as drought, strong winds, sandstorms, and low temperature freezing frequently occur in the region, which have some impact on winter wheat cultivation. Therefore, relevant departments need to take effective measures according to local conditions, such as selecting high-quality varieties, sowing at the right time, reasonable planting density, strengthening farmland infrastructure construction, and strictly managing field work, to help achieve high quality and high yield of winter wheat in the agricultural areas of Kizilsu.
