Discussion on the Prevention and Control of Surface Runoff Pollution from Garlic Cultivation in Jinjiang Town, Shangri-La City
Abstract:Garlic is one of the main economic crops in Jinjiang Town, Shangri-La City, with a planting area accounting for 32.79% of the total area of economic crops in the town. In recent years, the incidence of garlic diseases has been increasing year by year. Based on this, the relationship between garlic diseases and soil pollution, as well as the actual situation of surface runoff pollution from garlic cultivation, was investigated. Through the evaluation of surface runoff pollution from garlic production in Jinjiang Town, and the analysis of major pollution sources and production areas, it was found that the excessive application of agricultural fertilizers, significant non-point source pollution in farmland, and high soil fertility are the main reasons. To promote the implementation of measures to reduce agricultural non-point source pollution load, reasonable suggestions are proposed.
