The Challenges and Strategies of Rural Elderly Care under the Background of Rural Revitalization
Abstract：To better create an environment for elderly care and meet the practical needs of rural elderly care, this study conducts an in-depth investigation into the current situation of elderly care in Huaxian, Henan Province through questionnaires and personal interviews. The survey shows that Huaxian has relatively insufficient elderly care facilities, residents have a relatively shallow awareness of elderly care, young people face increasing pressure in elderly care, and the concept of 'raising children to support old age' still exists; the concept of elderly care is chaotic, and residents lack systematic understanding of elderly care. By analyzing literature and national policies and plans, the following countermeasures are proposed: establishing a complete elderly care center to ensure that the elderly have someone to rely on and can obtain support, reduce social conflicts caused by elderly care issues, promote social harmony and the steady development of the country.
