Current Status and Cultivation Path of Farmers' View of Happiness in the Context of Rural Revitalization
Abstract:In order to analyze the current status of farmers' view of happiness in China, an empirical study was conducted on 555 farmers in J County, Hubei Province, from three dimensions: components of the view of happiness, the order of value subjects, and the ways to obtain happiness. The study found that: in terms of the cognitive components of the view of happiness, the content of farmers' view of happiness shows a trend towards diversification, and the 'family' culture in China's excellent traditional culture still remains deeply rooted in farmers' view of happiness. The urgent demand for spiritual happiness is higher than the demand for material happiness. In terms of the order of value subjects, farmers place more emphasis on personal happiness than social happiness. In terms of obtaining happiness, farmers generally recognize the unity of creating happiness and enjoying happiness. Based on Marxist theory of happiness, this paper discusses the cultivation path of farmers' view of happiness from the following dimensions: paying attention to the development needs of farmers' families, strengthening the construction of happy families, and carrying out Marxist education on the view of happiness to guide farmers to correctly understand the dialectical relationship between struggle and happiness.
