Research on the Comprehensive Effectiveness of Health Poverty Alleviation in the Liupanshan Area of Ningxia under the Background of Rural Revitalization
Abstract:Poverty is dynamic, and if not addressed scientifically, it may lead to the recurrence of poverty among those who have escaped it. Therefore, continuing to implement health poverty alleviation remains a key measure for China to safeguard its poverty reduction achievements. This study uses the TOPSIS method to evaluate the satisfaction of the public with health poverty alleviation in Xiji County of the Liupanshan area of Ningxia, from four dimensions: medical expenses, level of medical services, related supporting measures for health poverty alleviation, and overall evaluation. The research results show that the comprehensive evaluation coefficients of public satisfaction with health poverty alleviation, ranked from highest to lowest, are: overall evaluation (0.505), level of medical services (0.466), related supporting measures (0.377), and medical expenses (0.315). Although the local residents have a high overall evaluation of health poverty alleviation, further improvements are still needed in the policy guarantee system, the establishment of a long-term mechanism to solve poverty, continued improvement of grassroots medical security levels, and support for rural revitalization. It is also necessary to integrate health into all policies and promote the sustainable development of rural health in the Liupanshan area of Ningxia.
