Selection and Comparative Testing of Oilseed Rape Segmented Harvesting Machinery
Abstract:To reduce the loss rate of oilseed rape mechanical harvesting and enhance farmers' enthusiasm for planting, based on the Hubei Agricultural Development Innovation Subsidy Fund Project, comparative tests on segmented and combined harvesting as well as machinery selection were conducted in major oilseed rape production areas such as Jingzhou and Huanggang. A comprehensive comparative analysis was carried out from aspects such as machinery performance, loss rate, economy, and adaptability. The test results showed that segmented harvesting is an effective way to reduce loss rates, and selecting high-performance machinery combinations is crucial for reducing loss rates. In terms of loss rate, the average loss rate of segmented harvesting in Jingzhou was 12.6%, while that of combined harvesting was 22.9%, with a difference of 10.3%. In Huanggang, the average loss rate of segmented harvesting was 17.43%, and that of combined harvesting was 29.93%, with a difference of 12.5%. Regarding machinery combinations, the MacDon self-propelled oilseed rape harvester paired with the Qiqihar SH233 type picker had the lowest loss rate, at 8%.
