Comprehensive Prevention and Control Technology Research on Bovine Viral Diarrhea-Mucosal Disease in Yaks
Abstract：Bovine Viral Diarrhea-Mucosal Disease (BVD-MD) is one of the major infectious diseases that seriously threaten the healthy development of yak industry in plateau pastoral areas. The pathogen, Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV), has characteristics such as complex genotypes and strong immune evasion ability, which pose serious challenges to disease prevention and control. This article combines the recent epidemiological characteristics and research progress of BVD-MD, taking Dingqing County in Changdu City as an example, and proposes comprehensive prevention and control measures, aiming to provide references and practical paths for establishing a BVD-MD prevention and control system suitable for the plateau ecosystem.
