Analysis of Reproductive Performance of Pudong White Pig
Abstract：In order to understand the current status of reproductive performance of Pudong white pigs and provide suggestions and measures for improving their reproductive performance, this study analyzed the reproductive performance data of Pudong white pigs from 2022 to 2024. The focus was on indicators such as litter size, number of live piglets per litter, and stillbirths. The study sorted out the changing trends of the reproductive performance of Pudong white pigs over the past three years and analyzed the related reasons. The results showed that the number of purebred litters of Pudong white pigs were 52, 40, and 71 litters in 2022, 2023, and 2024, respectively, with an average litter size of 11.28, 11.58, and 11.06 pigs, respectively. This value is lower than the national standard, and it is necessary to improve its reproductive performance through scientific breeding methods.
