Research Progress on International Biochar Certification Standards
Abstract：As a new type of environmentally friendly and efficient feed additive, biochar can improve animal growth performance, enhance intestinal health, strengthen disease resistance, and maintain the animal housing environment. To ensure the quality of biochar and the sustainability of its industrial development, international research has been conducted to develop biochar certification standards. The establishment and implementation of these certification standards have not only improved the quality and traceability of biochar but also promoted the sustainable development of the biochar industry, providing strong support for the widespread application of biochar on a global scale. This paper reviews the research progress on international biochar certification standards, aiming to provide a reference for the healthy and sustainable development of China's biochar industry and its further application in the livestock sector.
