Development Status and Countermeasures of the Poultry Industry in Rudong County
Abstract：Rudong County is a major livestock production county in Jiangsu Province. The number of laying hens has long ranked among the top in the province, with an annual output of high-quality egg products exceeding 100,000 tons, and it has become an important supply base for eggs in Shanghai, Suzhou, and other areas. This article introduces the current development status of the poultry industry in Rudong County, analyzes its industrial advantages and existing problems, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for future poultry production, providing references for promoting standardized breeding and industrial integration of the poultry industry in the county.
