Case Analysis of Traditional Chinese Medicine Preparation in the Treatment of Chicken Enterotoxemia
Abstract:To investigate the application effect of traditional Chinese medicine preparations in the prevention and treatment of chicken enterotoxemia in large-scale egg farms, 120 chickens suffering from chicken enterotoxemia were selected and randomly divided into a traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and a western medicine treatment group. The traditional Chinese medicine treatment group was treated with a combination of Bai Tou Wang Powder and Jing Fang Bai Du Powder, while the western medicine treatment group was treated with a combination of sulfamethazine sodium and ceftiofur. The feed intake, fecal formation rate, and recovery time of the two groups were compared. The results showed that all indicators of the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group were significantly higher than those of the western medicine treatment group (P < 0.05), indicating that traditional Chinese medicine has obvious therapeutic effects on chicken enterotoxemia. The combination of Bai Tou Wang Powder and Jing Fang Bai Du Powder can exert a synergistic effect through 'using cold and warm herbs together, and resolving both exterior and interior', showing significant effects in the prevention and control of chicken enterotoxemia in large-scale chicken farms.
