Immunoprotective Effect of SO7 Gene-Expressed Protein of Eimeria tenella Gansu Strain SO7
Abstract:The SO7 gene of Eimeria tenella Gansu (GS) strain oocysts was amplified by RT-PCR, and the SO7 gene was cloned into the expression vector pET-32a(+), constructing the pET-32a(+)-SO7 recombinant plasmid. The recombinant protein was induced in Escherichia coli BL21 and purified, then used to immunize chicken flocks to evaluate the immune effect. The results showed that the number of oocysts per gram of feces (OPG) in the immunized chicken flock was 305,030, with a 51.05% reduction in oocyst count. The score of cecal lesion was 1.5, indicating a relatively ideal anti-coccidial effect.
