Effect of Lutein Feed Additives on the Production Performance of Laying Hens under High Temperature Conditions
Abstract：To investigate the effect of lutein feed additives on the production performance of laying hens, this study conducted a feeding experiment with a control group, a traditional Chinese medicine group, and different dose lutein addition groups. The results showed that after adding a certain dose of lutein to the diet, the production performance and egg quality of the laying hens were better than those of the control group; when the addition amount in the diet was 240 mg/kg, the production performance and egg quality related indicators of the laying hens were optimal.
