Determination of Multiple Veterinary Drug Residues in Adipose Tissue of Livestock and Poultry Products by Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry
Abstract:This study established a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of multiple veterinary drug residues in adipose tissue of livestock and poultry products. The method showed good linearity, with correlation coefficients of standard curves for 71 veterinary drugs all above 0.99. The average recovery rates were between 87.5% and 116.0%, with relative standard deviations ranging from 0.9% to 8.4%. The detection limits for psychotropic control drugs and chloramphenicol ranged from 7.7 × 10-3 to 1.79 × 10-2 μg/kg; those for sulfonamides and antimicrobial potentiators, fluoroquinolones, antiviral agents, macrolides, and drugs such as thiamphenicol, thiamphenicol amine, and florfenicol ranged from 6.22 × 10-2 to 2.33 × 10-1 μg/kg; and those for coccidiostats and benzimidazoles ranged from 8.41 × 10-1 to 2.03 μg/kg. The experimental results indicate that this method is rapid, simple, accurate, and sensitive, and is suitable for the determination of multiple veterinary drug residues in adipose tissue of livestock and poultry products, showing good scientific and practical value.
