Optimization Research on Biosecurity Measures in Poultry Disease Prevention and Control
Abstract:Avian influenza, Newcastle disease, and other diseases pose serious threats to poultry production, causing significant economic losses to chicken farms. Therefore, implementing biosecurity is crucial. Biosecurity covers three aspects: personnel management, environmental management, and animal management. Personnel entering the farm must strictly follow operating procedures and disinfection regulations. In environmental management, chicken farms should be located away from residential areas and other poultry farms, and maintain cleanliness and disinfection. Animal management includes optimizing breeding practices, conducting quarantine and vaccination. The core of biosecurity lies in using physical, chemical, and biological methods to cut off transmission routes. Isolation, disinfection, and immunization are key measures. By implementing these measures, the sustainable development of the poultry industry can be supported, ensuring food safety for humans.
