Performance Testing and Analysis of Core Herd in Lean Meat Pigs
Abstract：Breeding performance of breeding pigs is the core link for improving economic efficiency and achieving sustainable development in the pig industry. This study took the core herd of lean meat pigs in a pig farm as the research object, and measured and analyzed their growth rate, reproductive performance, and feed conversion rate. The results showed that the construction of the core herd in this pig farm has achieved significant results, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent selection and promotion of high-quality breeding pigs. By formulating scientific breeding strategies and implementing refined management, the growth rate, reproductive performance, and feed conversion rate of breeding pigs can be significantly improved, providing strong support for the high-quality development of the pig industry.
