Current Status of Prevention and Control of Porcine Contagious Pleuropneumonia and Advances in Vaccine Research
Abstract:Porcine contagious pleuropneumonia is a respiratory disease caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, causing significant economic losses to the global pig farming industry. Currently, vaccination is mainly used for prevention and control. This review summarizes the current status of prevention and control of porcine contagious pleuropneumonia and reviews the research history of vaccines related to pleuropneumonia, providing a theoretical basis for further development of safe, effective, and low-cost vaccines.
