Climate Characteristics and Impact Review of Guangdong Province's Weather in September-October 2025
Abstract：In September-October 2025, the temperature in Guangdong Province was significantly higher than usual, reaching the highest level in the historical record for this period; precipitation was slightly more, and sunshine was close to the same period of previous years. There were five large-scale high-temperature weather events; four typhoons made landfall in Guangdong, and one typhoon had a significant impact on Guangdong, leading to four regional heavy rain processes. Typhoons caused serious impacts on agriculture, power, transportation, and people's livelihoods in Guangdong. Among them, typhoons 'Bujaga' and 'Maidam' severely affected western Guangdong, causing huge economic losses.
