Variation Characteristics of Negative Ion Concentration in Wanjie Lake and Its Relationship with Meteorological Factors
Abstract:In order to further improve the service level of environmental meteorological business, based on hourly negative ion concentration, temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, wind speed, and sunshine duration data from the Jinghuayuan station in Wanjie Lake, this study analyzed the variation characteristics of negative ion concentration and its relationship with meteorological factors. The results showed that the negative ion concentration in Wanjie Lake exhibited a diurnal pattern with higher values during the day and lower at night, with a daily average of 1,716 cm-3. The high values mainly occurred between 09:00 and 16:00. The negative ion concentration was highest in July and lowest in March, with significantly higher concentrations in summer than in other seasons. The negative ion concentration was significantly influenced by weather conditions, with the concentration ranking from highest to lowest as follows: rainy days > sunny days > cloudy days. Under sunny conditions, the negative ion concentration in spring, autumn, and winter showed a significant positive correlation with temperature and relative humidity.
