Effects of Drip Irrigation and Flood Irrigation on Wheat Growth and their Economic Benefits

Abstract：The current research compared the effects of drip irrigation and flood irrigation on wheat growth in Xinjiang where wheat re-veals distinctive growth characteristics;their economic benefits were also compared.Results showed that drip irrigation substantially in-creased water use efficiency,fertilizer use efficiency,and the yield of wheat in comparison with flood irrigation.Hence,drip irrigation technology has obvious advantages over flood irrigation in planting wheat in Xinjiang.
